Ok, so I am hatching shipped eggs. On day 7 air cells were on the side and now at 14 I have 12/12 saddle shaped air cells. I am using an auto egg turner. Does anyone have tips for a successful hatch at this point? All eggs have darkness , blood vessels and movement .

I think you have mistaken what is what in your egg and what a saddleshaped air cell is.

A saddleshaped aircell is noticed when you first receive the eggs after shipping. The saddleshape will not change throughout incubation. It might get a bit bigger as the air cell enlarges but it does not just appear midway through incubation, it does not change it's position and the dark blob is the chick in the egg.

I think what you thought was the air cell to start with will have been the egg yolk (big yello mass which looks darker when candling). The air cell should be in the large end of the egg and sometimes fresh eggs don't even have one so you might be candling your egg looking for an air cell and there isn't even an air cell that has formed yet.
IT is hard to spot the air cell but the best way is to shine the light where "it is supposed to be" and then gently tilt the egg left to right. Since an air bubble will move when you do this you can then detect the outline of the air bubble but seeing the air itself is very difficult as air is seethrough.

Once you are familiar ith what to look for it will all be a lot less stressful. The egg actually looks like it is developing well. Good luck.

Thank you!
I only had 1 put of 6 eggs hatch last time so I think you’re right I need to learn more!
