Yes, I know, come back in 3 weeks :plbb, but maybe someone wants to take a guess.
The chick is almost 3 weeks old, but since it is a mix between a white Faverolles roo and blue salmon Faverolles hen, it is hard for me to tell, although it is exciting to see this chick develop.

Blue salmon female? I don't know whether the white in Faverolles in dominant or recessive. It seems to be recessive.

I think I read somewhere that it is recessive, and it appears to be, but I couldn't say 100% sure.

I also have salmon Faverolles, but judging by the blue, I'm pretty sure the blue salmon is the mother.

I'm not sure. I'd almost guess pullet. Are you planning on breeding it back to white to get more white?
Right now I don't plan on breeding at all. The white rooster is now gone and I was very lucky to incubate 4 Hedemora hens (and 1 more with the Faverolles chick, which is looking like another pullet) out of 4 eggs. I can still get a Hedemora rooster and would prioritize them as they are so rare. I have a good Faverolles breeder nearby where I can always get Faverolles, if needed. Hedemora, not so much. Plus, I have already exceeded the amount of planned chickens. :p
