I'm guessing I have a little man on my hands... Hatch 6/24ish. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Depending on where you got this bird, I would say male due to the darker coloring on the wings. You have an easy bird to sex since they are basically sex-linked. Males tend to be black or dark brown and females are a much lighter 'salmon' color. I'm not too sure though since though since like I've said before, chickens can surprise you. I once knew these people who had chick who looked to be male within the first month or so and then started crowing. Assuming that she was actually a he, they gave him away. A few weeks later, the little boy started laying beautiful eggs and the new owners gave her back.

I would wait until he or she gets a little older and see how their personality changes. If you are allowed to keep a roo, I would suggest keeping this one (if he's a he) because they grow up to be gorgeous birds.

Good luck!

That would make my day. I was worried because the comb is much more red then my buff Orpington of the same age.
Thanks!
