Satsumadori pricing information

I got my hands on a pair of Satsumadori that I was going breed. I was curious on how much someone would pay for one. If it is even worth my time. From my research, they look like the grey Satsumadori. Any information would helpful as there isn't much out there on selling them. Can I get them certified in some way for their breed to be confirmed and cost more? Are there places to show them? Thanks in advance!

Poultry do not have certifications or pedigrees that make them more valuable (except certain American Poultry Association awards and certifications, but the Satsumadori is not APA recognized.)
However, if you want to start selling birds you should check out NPIP requirements for your state and get NPIP certified. In many states there are NPIP requirements to sell birds and in all states you are required to be NPIP to ship out of state.

You can show any chicken breed at any county fair or American Poultry Association sanctioned show, however, since the Satsumadori is not APA recognized they cannot place higher than best of breed. But it is a good way to show them off, which is one of the reasons poultry shows exist anyway. Not everyone is there for the awards.
