I hope I am posting in the right place. Would someone be so kind to help me and take a look at these pictures to tell me if you think it’s scaly leg mite. First time chicken owner and I am not sure if this is early signs of scaly leg mites or not. Pictures online seem to be mostly severe cases and I would like to catch it early on if that’s what it is. I saw pictures on the chicken chicks blog of normal legs but to me they look to be raised a little too and from what I’ve read elsewhere it says that they should be flat and smooth so I’m not sure now.
5 girls all 6 months old they free range and I laid some seed recently so there have been some wild birds around but generally that’s the case anyway. Thanks in advance for any insight!
