So I have a 3 year old male in with 3 females... I have had great fertility in their eggs... They are India Blues.... Do you guys think $400 for all four of them is a good price??? I thought so but am not getting any one interested in them contacting me.... I paid $525 for them just a few months ago and was thinking $400 would get them sold quickly.... So what is you guys suggestions???? Kristina

have you tried to sell seperate alot of people just want one an most people just want males.alot diff then chickens lol.try to post seperate an see if you get any nibles alot of people perfer chicks to raise by hand.

Dunno how the pricing normally goes in your area, but IB usually go from anywhere between $35-100 apiece for males and pairs normally got for $100-125.

Yep. I agree that price is too high.

If you were a breeder and would hold them for some time you may get $100 individually as blues, selling to a private non breeder who wants peafowl. With all four at once, I would accept less, maybe considerably less if I was trying to move them or clear my stock of peafowl. Put up an individual ad for peafowl and state $100 each, neg. on multiple purchases. This may help you recoup some of your money. Best of luck!

Just bit off more than I can chew... I have 5 young children, 8 dogs, 20+ chickens... And I did have 20+ Sebastopols but something keeps killing them so I have had lots of stress lately and have just decided to sell all my bigger birds... So the peafowl and the Sebastopols are now for sale... I see aldults for sale all the time for $125 to $150 in the India Blues... But I will put up that I will sell them individually if wanted... I think $100 each is a great deal!!! I paid a lot more than that for them all at once and I'm sure someone else out there would be interested for that low price.... Besides these birds are breeding age and the male has his full train... If someone were to get babies they would have to wait at least 2 years for any babies from them....

That seems a little expensive. Around here 4-7 year old IB peahens go for $60 bucks or you can get a pair of yearlings for $60. But that is just were I live, maybe I should move so I can get more out of IB'S
