One of my Serama eggs on day 18 has started cracking on the outside but hasn't broken thru yet. It's been about six hours since.i first noticed the shell starting to crack. Is it normal for this to take so long. Here is a photo from early this evening

This is how it looks now, about six hours later:

It will be day 19 tomorrow morning. How long do I let this go on before trying to intervene?

It is cracked all the way through, looks perfectly normal. They take much longer than six hours, lol. Don't intervene. Don't even break away any shell. They frequently take 24 to 48 hours to hatch after pipping. They do best if you don't interfere in any way. The nature of the crack is designed to let in oxygen but not let out moisture.
