SERIOUSLY - neon green egg whites... Have you ever seen it?

Just got a shipment of eggs. 11 days late. and the eggs were horrible..... smelly cracked.... ISH

They all had detached air cells and I wondered. So I opened them.

One of the eggs had NEON green egg white.

What could that be from?

I'm guessing they could be rotten.

Just wanted the seller to read it. They insisted these would be fresh.

Have you contacted the seller? They should replace your eggs. I think BYC has rules and regulations on selling eggs, you might want to check it out.

yes, I have contacted the seller. I just wondered what on earth could have caused such a weird color.

Me and the girlfriend went to a nice breakfast cafe that is very big in our southwest side Chicago suburb. The eggs came to me perfect but hers were neon green. I switched them cus i know she wasn't going to eat it and thought for a second i might eat it. But i remember my mother telling me not to eat bad eggs and with all the food recalls i thought why not send this one back. I got i new order and this one looked just like my original order. So i winder if this would of made me sick or if this just happens like blood in the white.
