I have a rooster with terribly swollen feet. At first I thought it was scaly mites. I treated for it, with no change. I have attempted antibiotics, with no success. I am starting to believe he has severe Bumblefoot. I am very familiar with Bumblefoot and have done many successful removals on my hens. This didn't present itself in the same way most Bumblefoot does. There was no sign of the characteristic "black scab" nor was there any cuts or wounds to his feet. When his feet had just started to show signs of swelling, Bumblefoot was the first thing I checked for. I have no farm vets of any sort in my area that care enough to treat chickens. So I am left to do what I can for my flock myself. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do or if this looks like something other then Bumblefoot I am open to suggestions. They just keep getting worse and I am at a loss...
Thank you.

It looks like he has MYCOPLASMA SYNOVIAE. It is a disorder where fluid gets into the leg. I would sparate him from the flock immediatly because it is contaigious. It is an infection. I suggest this.
Change the water daily. Treat the water with chlorine or citric acid (Mix 2 Tbsp in 1cup of water. Then mix 2 Tbsp of this mix in 1 gallon of fresh water). Although many antibiotics may be effective against MS, it is not recommended to use them unless you obtain an accurate diagnosis.
