This bantam Silkie behaviorally I think is a hen. They are the lowest in the pecking order of a four chicken mixed flock (two Easter eggers, two Silkies) they are skittish, and don’t try to get to higher places like the other Silkie.
Usually they walk more squat than the other Silkie (like picture 3) but when surprised will elongate stance (like picture 2) their earlobe color showed up several weeks after the other Silkie, and I’m not sure about the tuft of feathers on top of their head. Does it look uniform? Are there streamers? Will it fill in more as they get older? I know sexing Silkies is hard, thanks for looking!!
