Shiny feathers-[What foods do it?]

I plan on having only three hens, 2 of which are for laying and the last a sebright for beauty. What kind of snacks can I give her to make those feathers gleam

Black oil sunflower seeds especially, corn makes their legs and feet more yellow, and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables will help.

My flock (which consists of 1 Silkie rooster, 4 Silkie hens and a frizzled bantam Cochin hen) are fed gamebird crumbles. I believe its 24% protein, so much higher then layer feed, and it keeps their feathers in beautiful condition. They also get black oil sunflower seeds and scraps from my kitchen and what they scratch up when I let them out for some free range time. I offer oyster shell on the side or mix in the layer feed for calcium (when I don't have chicks running around).

How are they different than the kind I like to eat (David's in the white/yellow/red bag)

They aren't salted, don't feed them the ones with salt. I get them in a huge bag in the bird seed section at Southern States, but any pet store ir grocery store that sells bird seed should have them.
