I am brand new to bird hatching eggs as well as chicken keeping.
I purchased half a dozen shipped eggs.
Eggs arrived 3/30.
Eggs were set in cool room for a few days until incubator came into mail.
Incubator was late, so used reptile forced air incubator and manually turned eggs.
Brinsea incubator arrived 4/8.
Eggs moved to Brinsea maxi 2 advance.
Three eggs veined and moving.
Lockdown estimated.
What should I be looking for signs of life during lockdown?
Does one always hear chirps and is that something I should be looking for?
Any information at all would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to BYC. As long as development was observed prior to lockdown, just exert patience. Sometimes vocalizations can be heard prior to pipping. Good luck for a successful hatch.
Ditto Dat^^^

Welcome to BYC! @DragonParadigm

Here's some good reading to distract you while you wait for eggs to hatch:

Omygosh! TY so much!
I JUST got a vocalization this afternoon and then while I was sitting in front of it saying, “pio pio pio pio!” It rocked and then “pip”!!!!! So excited right now!!! I want to stare at the tiny cracks until something else happens, but I know what’s redundant.

Yayyyy for my Easter Egg Chick!

I know zero about chicken breeds.
If anyone wants to identify what they are or what it could possibly be. I always thought all chicks were yellow before I started this venture.

This chick seems to be of yellow color so far. I can’t wait till all the feathers fluff up!!!!!
