Has anyone noticed a change in their chicken's behavior? When it comes to shoes? If I come wearing random converse my Roos go into offensive mode, and the hens get skittish. But if I wear my black rubber boots not a problem. I think they identify me more with my footwear than anything above the ankles. Weird but random rambling... :D

No. I only wear two pair of boots though, so that might be it

Yes and clothing.
If like me people have chicken clothes the chickens get used to a certain appearance. I dare say for people who often wear different clothing the chickens get used to that as well.
If one of my chickens changed feathers overnight I would be very wary.
If what they've become accustomed to changes then some degree of caution would seem prudent.

Mine notice my shoe changes will stare at my feet to make sure they aren't dangerous. 🤣 If the shoes have laces, they will untie them. They also have certain color clothing they do not like me wearing like Red or Yellow, it startles them into a scatter.

Yes! I mainly wear boots, and they don’t care, but when I were flip flops they freak out and won’t come near! 😂

I have "chicken shoes," and those are what I wear, winter and summer, into the run and coop. If there is 6" of snow, I shovel a path and tromp down the snow to the run.

Pants/coats/shirts vary, and everyone seems fine with whatever I'm wearing.
