Should all silkies have blue earlobes?

Hi, I have 7 silkies and some of them have blue earlobes and some of them don't. I was thinking of breeding them, and if I do I want them to be as perfect as I can get them to be, so I want to make sure this is normal.

I would guess the blue ear is a sign of good breeding. I currently just have one and she has the blue ear lobes as did my white one who recently passed.

OK then I guess I will be giving away all of my silkies that don't have blue earlobes... I am very sorry for your loss

I've always associate the black skin and blue earlobes with a quality silkie but I could be wrong. Surprisingly those features didn't make it to my silkie mixes that I have.
