This is my rooster Pellet. I'm pretty sure he's a Sicilian Buttercup. I would like to get a hen to breed him with. I got a younger hen from the same stock as Pellet but she isn't showing the buttercup comb do you think i will get any buttercups if i breed them?

What kind of comb does the pullet have? Can you post a picture of it?

Depending on what kind of comb she has, you might be able to get some chicks with buttercup combs from her, or you might not, if you breed her with that male.

:welcome His coloring is not correct for a pure Sicilian buttercup. Bred to a pullet from the same stock, you may get birds with buttercup combs, but they will not be pure Sicilian Buttercups.

This is Bumblebee. I got Pellet and a hen named Jackie from the same brood but Jackie is pure black with black feet and Bantam sized without the buttercup comb.

I figured he was a cross-breed with his colors, but his comb is so wonderful and I would love to have more!!
