1) Ameracuna, 1.5 years, maybe slightly lighter than normal
2) completely fine yesterday and this morning, this afternoon - not standing, shriveled, pale comb, was panting when I got home, overall listless. Now indoors, I've cooled her down, panting has stopped. Seems fatigued, sleepy. Does attempt to stand.
3) Not exactly sure how long she's had symptoms. They started sometime during the day today.
4) All other birds are fine.
5) No signs of trauma.
6) My best guess is dehydration as it been extremely hot and humid here. Birds have had plenty of access to water, kept in shade, have dust bath areas in shade. When I got home, she was laying right by the water, panting heavily. She wouldn't move. I immediately brought her in, started syringe of water/electrolytes. Panting has stopped. I notice a slight whistling when she breaths in deeply.
7) She was receptive to syringe of water with electrolytes and we gave her a fair amount but I moved her and it seems most of it came back up and out her beak.
8) I have not seen any stool that I know for sure to be hers.
9) I've isolated her, given electrolytes, gotten the panting to stop. Offered food, not interested. I'm debating tubing her and giving the electrolyte solution that way.
10 ) My avian vet is out today, I'd take her, if I could, not sure if that will be an option tomorrow or not.
11) Hens have a coop, with a pen underneath, that we move, so the ground is grass. When we are home, they free range our fenced acre; we were out today so they were in the pen but it moves so the ground is grass.

She may have suffered a heat stroke. If you have a crumble or pellet type food you can try and make it a mush to see if she will eat it that way. Your doing good with the electrolytes and keeping her cool and calm. I would say that getting her electrolytes up is the priority.

Thanks for the reply. I really don't know what to think. I was feeling her crop, just to check it, and she pooped all over me. It was watery but didn't seem abnormal. I put her in warm water, could it possibly be an egg? I don't know, but I tried. She pooped twice in there. She's now in her own little box. Still won't drink on her own. I was giving more electrolytes and she had a foamy yellow stool. She did stand a bit, in a squat, first she's been able to do that. I'm really very confused.

It may be safer to have her sip fluids from a small cup, rather than give her water from a syringe, so as not to aspirate or choke. Many chickens will soak their legs in wide flat pans 1/2 full of water when they are hot, to cool off. My hens are muddying up those pans these very hot days in the 90's, so that I have to refill them twice a day with cool water. Hopefully, she will recover from her dehydration. Once she is drinking well, the muchy chicken feed mixed with water will be good for her. A chopped egg mya also be accepted. Low bushes and shrubs are helpful in providing shade.
