sick puffy hen

I have a 1yr old. She is having breathing isuues. Tried everything no vets here in yhe area handle birds. She is still walking around some, eating a little and drinking. Tried tylan 50 for 2 days. Should i just dont know if i should put her down or not. I am distraught. Its been a couple weeks. No other chickens are sick.

What symptoms does she have? Tylan can be used 1 ml twice a day for up to 5 days, given orally or by intramuscular injection, for a 5 pound hen. Respiratory diseases can be from bacteria, viruses, and fungus. Only bacterial diseases would respond to antibiotics. Viruses will run their course over several weeks. If you lose her, you could get a necropsy done to find out what she has.
