Silkie…rooster?

I started questioning if my silkie hen was really a hen at 11 weeks. “He” is a rooster right? He’s 16 weeks and I’m feeling pretty certain now
But he hasn’t crowed yet that I’ve heard.
This is my first silkie so what are we thinking?

I don’t have much experience with Silkies, but I would say you do have a little boy. His comb and waddles are bigger than my silkie roo was at the same age.

You have a beautiful cockerel there! He has the classic walnut comb. I can't see his back in the older pictures, but in his 11-week photo he was starting to grow hackles.

He appears to be a splash. If you have a splash hen, you could breed them together and make more! There are other ways too but that's the best one!
