Silkie Beak turning white

Wondering was going on with my silkies beak- one photo from June looking normal. The other from today.
She’s on high quality layer pallets and has access to grass.
She had a toe nail fall off at the base this week so I’m wondering what’s going on

I know you said you feed a high-quality layer feed but silkies are one breed that can easily be prone to vitamin deficiencies. I would put some Nutra Drench, Poultry Cell, or some type of poultry vitamins in the water every other day for a couple of weeks and see if that helps. If she's laying, she should have oyster shell too. That'll help strengthen the nails and beak as well as do protein and other vitamins.
