Just got some beautiful Willie chicks from a swap last weekend. I picked out this one because I felt it was a frizzle. What is everyone else opinion? Also I believe it is a partridge Willie. Can anyone confirm this also?

Does look like a frizzle but not exactly Partridge

It’s a sizzle, looks to be a silver partridge
Good to hear that. My wife was wanting a silver Willie, even if it not a partridge but I didn't think it was by the color. Also had 3 chicks hatch in the incubator 2 days ago and the kids are enjoying Chick-topia at the moment.

Here’s a tip if u decide to breed you silkies, do not breed two birds that have the frizzle gene. It causes the frazzle gene witch cause chicks to die in the egg, hatch then die or if they make it to adulthood they may (not all the time) be unhealthy birds

I just read about that just before your post. We have been breeding out current flock and selling at our local swap and have been wanting baby silkies for year's but all we saw until last weekend were silkie roosters people were wanting to get rid of. Also currently building another coop and run area to keep the silkies separated from our other chickens and ducks. So now we will have 3 coops and runs lol. Chickens really are addictive hahaha...

Yes they are! Soon (maybe) you’ll be wanting to raise show quality or something, that’s how I am. Lol!

i am consistently confused on sizzle and frizzles. what would you classify her as and the color category. her mom is black with the same feathers which i guess are frizzle? dad is a redish regular silkie. she is 4 weeks old
