Keep us posted. Rooting for your little one! I would love to know if she is able to recover from this!!!Update - I decided to try the “hanging method” where I’m gonna suspend her off ground for a few days and see if the pressure off her leg helps at all.
Nice point perhaps with it being in the hung position and no pressure to the leg this will give it sometime to heal correctly. As long as the chick doesn’t move it around it might actually work.Btw something that helped with my chick, was popping the tendon into place and then putting something around the leg holding it straight so the tendon couldn’t pop back out (I believe in my case we used a drinking straw with a slit in it that I put around the leg then taped it so it would stay shut.) Hopefully that makes sense. You want the leg to be straight and the tenon in the correct position and the legs suspended.
That is ONE Modification. HANDS DOWN for you, LOLView attachment 4088126View attachment 4088127View attachment 4088129
I had to put her in a modified sock today because she kept jumping out of the t-shirt sling and it just wasn’t working. I have her leg lightly taped backward to that hammer so there’s some pressure keeping it back (and so she doesn’t try to use her other leg to jump on the bricks). I’m going to keep her in here for 5 days straight and then decide what to do.
I just need one more picture of her FACE. LOL. I must see if she's a happy camper or have that look of YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. LOL...That is ONE Modification. HANDS DOWN for you, LOL
