How do you tell if a young Silkie is a hen or a rooster?

The rooster will get a bigger redder comb faster and will start to get streamers growing out of his crest. And the tail will usually have more solid feathers than the hen's and the rooster might have bigger legs and stand more upright

Unless he's a proper silkie and will have a bigger, black/mulberry comb early. :]
