Silkie... I won't know till it crows

This guy is a little over 8 weeks old now.. my first and only silkie... all my research has told me it's impossible to sex silkie till they lay or crow, but the head feathers are confusing.. they aren't messy with streamers like I've seen on other roos... any opinion greatly appreciated

Silkies can be sexed before laying or a crow, sometimes its easy to tell and sometimes its not.
At this age its too young to know for sure. But, I'm feeling like that comb is a tad large for the age, could be wrong though, and it is very soon to tell.
