Sluggish to sudden CRD?

Is it possible that a 7 month old Brahma who was sluggish one day, abc the next day had audible crepty breathing sounds ?

I need to know the best way to inject tylosin please

Goodness, she appears to be in a bit of respiratory distress. She’s also holding her wings out like she’s hot. What are the temperatures like there? if it’s pretty hot, with all that feathering on her having a tough time, I might be tempted to bring her in where it’s a little cooler for a little bit. By the way, she’s absolutely gorgeous.

Which one are you wanting to use?

One is Tylosin with Gentamycin, the other is Tylosin.

Instructions say to give IM injections.

IF you go with the Tylosin 200, that could be given orally.
The combo, I'm not sure if it can be given orally or not. @Eggcessive or @casportpony may know.

I would just give the Tylosin and give it orally. Gentamycin is to be given by injection, and that is not something that would treat most respiratory diseases. Gentamycin is more for E.coli or intestinal infections.

Sounds like whatever you are dealing with is spreading to others.

Did you treat the one in your first post with the Tylan? Did that help with the symptoms? If so, then treating the youngsters may help with their symptoms.

Sadly, most respiratory diseases make birds carriers for life and the disease just continues to spread through the flock anytime you have new birds, chicks, etc. Some respiratory diseases like Mycoplasma are even transmitted into the hatching eggs.
I'm sorry you're having to deal with this.
