Hi everyone,
First time using a forced air incubator. Humidity would fluctuate quite a bit. I found it in the 60's and 70 degrees before. Also as low as 30 degrees. I candled a couple last night and I thought the sack looked small. I did not see movement (should I be able to see it in light brown egg?). Does sack look small? I removed all water this am and humidity stays at 28. Tomorrow starts lockdown. Should I leave it like that until I hear a pip? Any other advice appreciated.

Movement is hard to see, humidity is measured in percentage points not degrees (almost had a heart attack when I thought you were talking temp!), you shouldn’t see anything in a near lockdown egg (that’s good!), keep the humidity high (60-70ish) during lockdown, before lockdown humidity can be hard to keep at the preferred level but unlike temp it won’t wreck your hatch if it fluctuates a bit, mostly though remain calm and enjoy!

Thank you. They are locked down Just trying to get the humidity up. Many years ago I had a styrofoam incubator which I had great luck with. I bought this forced air onr that has a bottle on the out side with a connecting tube. It is quite unreliable, but we shall see.....
