OK I’m not talking fairy eggs- but all of my ducks eggs seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Will not seem to be… They are. They’re the size of my chicken eggs and sometimes smaller. What could be the reason for this? They are not new layers. Their eggs are fertile and vine as I just hatched out 18 of them. But they are getting smaller and one of the selling points is bigger eggs!

Might just depend on your ducks? I have a variety of sizes right now but I have a variety of duck sizes. If you have younger/newer ducks, maybe they are laying smaller than normal eggs (not fairy eggs)? I think some of my newer layers are starting out with smaller eggs, but I'm not positive.

Im wondering the same thing!! I have two Anconas and they have been laying normal sized eggs (for their breed) and in the last week they have been laying eggs the size of Call duck eggs!!!

These are ducks that (with the exception of 3) I’ve had and have been getting eggs from for over a year now. “Big Whitey” as my kids have named her, Is a pekin who used to lay huge eggs but now they are as small as chicken eggs
