Snake proofing my chicken coop....Money is not a concern.

Where is the best place to buy this??
my apologies I havent logged on in a while. At your local feed store or farmers assoc./cooperative would be the best place. Beef cattle producers mix with cattle feed to provide amino acids and nutrients for their cattles ruminants. They may have it at TSC or Atwoods but some folks will have no idea what you are talking about so make sure you ask an experienced associate. I know I went to our local atwoods asking for injectable penicillin and the two young fellas tried to sell me cattle vaccine. So be careful. Also surely it can be ordered online.

First time with chickens and ducks...we have 18 baby chicks (all female) and 3 baby ducklings (all female)...we are currently assembling our chicken coops that we purchased at Lowes....I realize there might not be a 100% effective way to keep snakes out of the coop, but if money was not a limiting factor what would give as close to 100% protection from snakes getting in the coop. I'm sure you can already tell I hate snakes (good and bad ones)...all ideas are welcome even if most people would not find them practical...I appreciate you taking the time to comment!
Try garden netting. Snakes get tangled in it & cannot escape. 😊

In 2021 I covered the pallet base and top of an 8 x 16 coop with 16 gauge 1/2" hw cloth and made an apron around the sides .Haven't had anything get inside the coop but I did lose 2 free ranging once.It looks nothing like this now as this was taken when it was first built
