Hi everyone! Only a couple months into this backyard chicken raising world. Loving it so far but struggling with knowing what to do here.

We have noticed the size difference in this pullet for a while now but the last couple weeks it has been more and more obvious. At this point, my other girls are almost twice her size. They are all about 12 weeks old.

The last couple days I’ve noticed this one has been a little extra lethargic. I thought it was just the Texas heat so I made sure I kept an ice block for them to stand on (which they’ve been loving!) and fresh water. But today, it got worse.

At the beginning of the day she could barely walk and now she won’t walk at all. She ate earlier, but now she won’t eat at all. I separated her to make sure she wasn’t being bullied out of eating food but I’m afraid whatever I do now may be too late.

Any advice?

Is she pooping? What's that like?

I would work on hydration, syringe drops of electrolytes or sugar water into her.

What's her crop like?
Thank you for responding! I tried syringe drops of electrolytes but I just didn’t get to get in time. I feel so bad.

She was so skinny and tiny she must have been feeling awful for so long. I had no idea. I guess I learned something for the future I just hate that it was at her expense.
