One of my little girls is molting hard for the first time, and her immune system is down. She ended up getting what initially seemed to be an impacted or slow crop but became fungal (I can see white stuff in her throat). I have the nystatin already, I just don't know what to dose her with as she's pretty small and I have no idea what she weighs or how to measure something like that. I'm very bad at math and have no idea the hell a kilogram is to a pound and none of the equations on here make any remote sense to me. I don't want to hurt her but I have no vet available to help me with this. Any advice welcome!

EDIT:

Finally got her weighed!! She is 3.7 lbs. How many ml of nystatin should she be recieving? I'm having trouble with the math. It seems like its coming out to 16 ml twice daily but I do not want to be wrong.

Welcome to BYC. Do you have a digital bathroom scale, or a kitchen scale that you can get a weight? How old is the chicken and is it a bantam or full size chicken? Which Nystatin product do you have? Dosage for chickens is 300,000 units for every kilogram (each 2.2 pounds) given orally twice a day. Here in post 11 is an illustration:

We don't own a scale, I'm running to the store to buy a bathroom scale to see if I can get her exact weight. She's about to be 2 years old and she's a white austra, though she's half the size of our other hens and I can easily lift her with one hand. I have Fungistat specifically
EDIT She's 3.7 lbs, now I'm just trying to figure out how many ml of medicine she should be getting
