Speckled Sussex 10 weeks what gender is it?

I ordered pullets but I need help sexing my speckled sussex chick, now 10 weeks old. I heard a crow the other day and this little one saw a cat and started doing some kind of loud call. It also is always charging the other chicks and flares out it neck feathers, just recently it has become very aloof towards me, it used to hope on my arm and lap at feeding time now it stays as far a way as possible. I placed my fingers under the feather along the neck and honestly can't tell if they are u shaped or pointed. It also the first to get red in comb and waddles about 9 weeks old they were as large as what is present now. I am very new to chickens but I am leaning towards rooster on this one. I have to report the sex error by 17 weeks to get a refund so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks I though so! I also posted pictures of my silver laced wyandotte in the slw thread its bigger the my gold laced so I am not sure about the sex on that one but leaning towards pullet.

You could post a photo of the Wyandotte in question on this thread, too. I'd be glad to help you identify it.

Both of these birds are pullets.

Oh good I thought so but was a little worried, so thankfully its one out of six, my other 3 are for sure no question pullets, the lacing is difficult to see the feather shape, but this week they just started getting red in the comb and waddles the same as the rest of the girls.

I agree with Wyandottes7. Both of your Wyandottes are definitely pullets!

Agree you have the one cockerel, the Sussex, and the Wyandottes are pullets.
