I bought these labeled as Speckled Sussex. I bought them at the same time as Easter Eggers, Silver laced Wyandottes, and Buff Orpingtons. But these 2 SS are smaller than all my other chicks. They are like 2/3 maybe the size of my other chicks.

Looks right to me. I’m not sure about the size difference but I wouldn’t worry about it unless they were smaller than chicks of the same breed. I don’t know what breeds they use to make EEs but Wyandottes are generally a bit heavier than Spex.
Side note: they are ready to go outside.

Yes they have been moved. Got hit with a late snow storm which put a delay in finishing the coop

Oh good! Sorry for the unsolicited advice I just see so many people keeping chicks in their house and I remember the insane feather dander and how hard it is to clean up and I want to help them avoid it if I can. Even if they’re in the garage there’s always that point where they stop being cute and start being gross lol.

Oh I was so ready to have them moved lol. But the dang snow 😵‍💫 they were terrorizing their space. Knocking their feeders and waterers over multiple times a day. Ugh. They are so happy in the coop now tho
