Sprouted mung beans causing diarrhea?

I decided to add some sprouts to my 2 month old chickens diet. I read that mung beans should grow at least five days before eating raw in order to neutralize a potentially unhealthy compound present in uncooked dried beans. I waited the appropriate amount of time and then began to offer about a cup a day for fourteen birds. Now I'm seeing big runny piles all over the floor. And yes, I'm offering grit too. Has anyone had this problem?

did you do them in a jar or in ground. I just gave mine some from the jar past 5 days old. Sometimes they get loose stools from eating greens i dont thing any will hurt them if they get a loose stool. Hope to see if anyone else replies on this issue.
