Squishy egg?

What does a squishy egg mean? If it makes a difference it’s from a 6 month old new layer
 
This is what we like to call... A rubber egg!!!

Basically, your chicken just didn't lay it right. This could be because of a lack of calcium, so supply crushed oyster shells or crushed eggshells just in case.

Lol rubber egg! We do have oyster shells but I’ll save the egg shells when we have eggs as well!
 
Glad to see that this can happen, I just found my first "rubber" egg this morning, and it really surprised me. I think it surprised my hen too, as it was left under the roost and not in the nest box as it usually is.
