Still not fully convinced

The dark neck, wing and saddles, the fact that those feathers are narrow and pointy, the big comb and waddles all stand in their tip toes and scream male . The tail is the only thing that actually doesn't, but that's 100% male.
Ya I didn't even get to the tail with everything else going on.
That dark blue extending past the neck to the back and saddle area is a dead giveaway as a male when it's a blue variety.
 
To help clarify why we all know this is a cockerel:

Thick legs
Pointy, shiny hackle feathers
Pointy, shiny saddle feathers
Even the sickle feathers are appearing

Some cockerels take a while to show behavioral signs. For example, my cockerel didn't start mating attempts until 6 months. He didn't start crowing until 6.5 months. Some boys will attempt to crow at a few weeks. Just like humans, each chicken is an individual and mature at different rates.
