A day ago I rescued a stray chicken that was hanging out in a neighborhood near me, the people who called me said they’d been seeing her for at least two days, so I’m wondering if the white stuff on her comb is favus or just it being dry from being in the weather with little shelter for at least two days. The weather has been getting down to the twenties, and was at seven some time this week. Other than the white on the comb she seems fine she’s eating and drinking, she walks fine, she’s not bloated, her crop seems fine. I did notice that she has what I think are white earlobes so it would be great if someone can confirm that the white spots are indeed earlobes and not a desease. I ask this because I have only ever had chickens with red earlobes, so I’d like to make sure. If there is anything else I should check on her please let me know. And her poop is well formed and I haven’t seen any worms or anything out of the ordinary in it. And if anyone is worried I cleaned her cage right after taking pictures, and cleaned her feet so she is in a clean environment
