Male or female?
I have a little sumatra chick that's about 2-3 weeks old now. All my chicks were bought from a large festival here close to me and were straight run.
This chick is always trying to jump at me when opening the door to them and will constantly try to play fight all the other chicks. Super fast and jumps super high! It's cute for now but I'm worried this is a roo with problem behavior, he does try to jump at me through the cage any time I'm near.
The featuers have a purple sheen to them and just recently his tail started to come in.
Is this a little roo and if so what do I do about this behavior if it's even a problem?
