I have inherited an old line of Sweater Greys, I know they originate from Johnston County, NC "Percy Flowers", they were raised as a fighting bird but we do not take part in that nonsense. They have a Green Hue on there legs and spurs for miles. Great temperament with people as well. I would love more information about them as i cannot find anything anywhere really about them.

I have heard of Percy Flowers in the foxhound community, and in the moonshine community, but never in reference to gamefowl. Figures that he would have some though, and real good ones at that, if anything like his fox dogs. The sweater greys originated with "Sweater" McGinnis. To have sweaters is special, but to have sweaters that have passed through the hands of Percy Flowers is a real gem. More precious than anything that is offered by any of the fancy chicken chick mills that shall not be mentioned. You should feel honored to possess such a rare treasure. And no, you don't have to engage in criminal activities to appreciate such unique birds and living pieces of American history. And gamefowl in general are very beautiful, and very nice to their human caretakers, having been bred for ease of handling much more than most other chicken varieties. Take good care of them.
