Its been a week she hasn’t healed. I think she twisted her ankle im not sure what else to do. Any suggesting ? Her foot turn green. I dipped it in Espoo salts, there’s no cut or anything. There’s no puss either.

Is there a break in the skin where the green bruise is? It may be fractured just above her toes. Is there any way that you could get an X-ray? I would confine her to a wire dog crate with food and water on soft bedding, to force her to rest her leg. You could pad and wrap the foot with vet wrap strips or tape on a stiff popsicle stick or tongue blade if you be careful not to let it get too tight. Tape and vet wrap can slip with movement, so check the color and temperature often. Splinting incorrectly can cut off circulation making things a lot worse.

It started to break when I did the Espom salts a week before but healed itself and was spilling just watery based. I think she twisted it, which I thought she got hit somewhere but doesn’t seem the case.

I thought perhaps bumble foot, have no clue ... I'm having a similar situation this morning. Haven't figured it out yet ... Hen limping, foot pad fine but there is a lump (pinkish) on the top of foot, between the left foot outer toe & middle. Thought maybe an insect bite don't see any marks. Gonna keep close eye ... Wish they could talk

I checked to see for fracture, bumble foot, nothing lol. I think she either hit her inner foot on something to cause that swelling. Or she jump off from perching which they’re not that high. I’m not sure, I’m forcing her to rest and eat until she heals better and I splint it as you said. Or maybe she got stung by a bee and me too I wish they could speak to me what’s wrong

The footpad looks like there is a small cut, which could be related to an injury. I would be tempted to start an antibiotic such as amoxicillin, or see a vet about all of the swelling. The swelling could be infection, trauma from a sprain or broken leg, but it is hard to know for sure. This is your 3 rd thread about the chicken, so I would continue to post on one of them.
