Thank you and an update!

I haven’t been in here for awhile. Life is keeping us super busy but I wanted to say thank you to whoever nominated me for a super cool badge! I came back to check in on things and was surprised to find a ton of new messages, private and public and at first I couldn’t figure out what was going on. A lot of clicks later I realized I didn’t screw something up. Thank you again for the kind gesture, and for allowing me to share our boys, Chuck and Buck with you all!

I have been sparse around here. I’ve got two kids doing this whole distance learning thing, my oldest son is back for a few weeks, Daddy Ducks swim training has been in full force, meaning I’m at the lake at least three hours a day following him around in a kayak. The last time we took the boys camping, Daddy Duck swam and got his 7th world record. Upon returning, my state (California) decided to go up in flames (we are safe). Daddy Duck decided to do a second 12 mile swim across Lake Tahoe for fun. (We have two very different ideas of fun). My daughter won an essay contest out of the entire state of Ca, and then Daddy Duck captured his 8th record this past Friday. I have spent the last two days in my PJs ignoring the world and being lazy. Tomorrow it’s back to the grind.

We have scheduled another camping trip for Chuck and Buck over Thanksgiving. They will NOT be on the menu. They will get to participate in the festivities though.

Anyway, enough of my mostly non related Duck posts.... just wanted to say thank you again for the honor! I’m excited to be a BYC Friend!

Oh wow I don't know if I could do three huskies, but I do have three dogs total with our husky, an Akita and a Sheltie!

Yeah, three huskies are a handful. That’s why Chuck and Buck go camping instead of the dogs

Our huskies are all “recycled” pound puppies. One was abused, one was neurotic, and the last one is just not all that smart. But we love them and they’re stuck with us. Lol
