It's not about killing the coon being legal or not. . it's the style of trap because it can easily kill things that are not intended. There are regulations regarding using that style of trap, where they can be placed.
I wouldn't go around bragging about it locally is all I'm sayin.

Everything I've bought from there has been quality.
Only determined predators will be led by their scent to the trap, so far it caught the two trash-pandas that would not go into the cage traps.
And really, they are seen as pest here and can be killed by all means…

Our younger drake has somehow managed to lose his hind claw on one foot. What can we expect?

- it will grow back (??)
- it will remain missing but the foot will form a callus and be OK
- it will be a permanent sore spot :(

If you have, treat it with some antibiotics to avoid an infection. The claw won't grow back but your drake will soon forget that he had one.

When you buy domestic Mallards the hind claw on the right foot is removed from the hatchery to prove they are domestic. It should heal and do just fine. Good luck with him.
