I give mine the option and they go in and out . They have a nice down under coat on under their feathers and usually lay around on their feet. They sure are pretty.

So good to hear from you!!!Hi everyone I can hardly believe I am here. I try many times a day and sometimes I can get here but can’t reply most of the time. So this is a blessing.
Not much has changed they keep telling us they are working to get everyone connected again so we are trying to be patient.I sure miss being here though. I hope everyone is doing well and your flocks too.
We are slowly getting things back to normal here we have someone coming today to give us an estimate on putting our fence back where the landslide took it down. And my dh finally got the culvert dug out so if we get a heavy rain it will have a place to go beside down our driveway. Our dirt road is driveable now but we still have a drop off that needs repaired but there is so much work going on we have to get on a list. Anyway I’ll try checking in again and hopefully I can get back on permanent soon. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
-8 is time for me to also stay inside, lol! I hate the cold. My arthritis especially hate the cold!Yes, the beautiful evening light was my reason for taking the photo.
Yesterday I forgot to check the weather forecast (happens super rarely) and boom, -8 C. I'm sure for Canadians this is a routine event but over here, not so much. Here we see the young ducks in a dilemma - should we get out or would it be better to just stay in the house today?
