Thinking of getting a pair of buff geese. Do they create as much of a mess as ducks?

I am considering getting a pair of buff geese. I currently have for ducks that generate a tremendous amount of mess and create a swamp out of there water wherever they go. Before I consider finalizing my purchase of the geese, I wanted to know if any of you had experience with this and if the requirements for geese and ducks are roughly the same.

My geese make more of a mess by there poop its way bigger than duck poop and they do it constantly. As for probing around in the mud my geese prefer to be grazing in the pasture.If you have a geese confined in a small area there will be no grass left.IMO geese should have space to roam on to be happy and healthy.
