This blue BYM chick, 5 weeks old, has had a large comb since he was about a week old. But it’s never really turned red, and it’s sort of stopped growing. I still think it’s a boy, but was curious to hear if anyone thinks there is a chance it’s a pullet.

The other chicks in the pics are from the same hatch- a black cockerel and a black pullet- but not related to the blue.

I noticed that when there are other roosters around some cockerels combs take longer to fully pinken out. Since the other roo you have is so bright looking it might be the more dominant of the two :)
