Thisle/ pokey weeds

I have lots of the thisle and pokey weeds that cover the ground and are not tall. Can chickens eat these?

I don't know about those plants, but wanted to welcome you to BYC. Generally chickens don't seem to eat plants that are bad for them, but they are not fool proof. I'll attach a link to a toxic plant list. Hope it helps

When they are very young and tender my birds will sometimes eat them if there is not much better greenfeed around. But once they start to get spiney they'll ignore them like everything else does. Thistles have been bad this year.
