Posted pic of my Stevie when she was couple months or so old. Bought her at Orschlins with 2 others labeled as barred rock. She was pure black with yellow legs while other two black with white spot top of head and yellow legs. Other 2 have the barring , look like typical barred rock.
Stevie developed muff and beard (guessing this is what's called muff instead of ear tufts). And legs turned black. You kind ppl told me she was probably some version of Ameraucana/EE.
She got egg bound or actually prolapsed with lining tangled around egg outside of body. Did the epsom soak and was able get egg/lining back inside. Soaked her a couple more times and she finally got the egg out. It is brown with a few speckles.
Could she still be an EE? Trying Google see what all black chicken with muff and beard and black legs lays brown speckled eggs to no avail lol. TIA!! Top egg is store bought large egg.
