Tie-breaking vote on GLW gender

Good evening! We've expanded our flock, adding a variety of birds to our ISA Browns. We already had a GLW roo and wanted to get a couple of hens. I believe we have one pullet and one cockerel; my son is convinced they're both girls; my husband thinks they're both boys. I guess whatever happens, one of us is correct!

I would have thought there would be evidence of the solid red shoulder colouring coming in if one was a cockerel, like in the photo on this thread which shows a bird around the same age as yours: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...n-laced-wyandotte-genders.684070/post-9268319

Even though your first bird there has larger wattles they are still very pale in colour and the comb isn't that developed yet. I think you have 2 pullets.

Pullets, I think.

But the saddle feathers will reveal the truth in the next few weeks.

Looks like pullets, nothing strongly suggesting roo at this age

Thanks for your reply! I found the thread you attached helpful- especially what the "red shoulders" of a cockerel look like. Our fingers are crossed! (One of the reasons for my doubts was how much more pink/red their combs and wattles are compared to the other breeds we got. They have not gotten large, though. )
