Time to play "hen or roo" again

Can anyone give me hope to cling to that my ~10week Barred Rock is not a roo? I'm hoping maybe she's just older than that and I was told the wrong age when I bought her. But she's starting to look roo-ish to me.

Bonus points if you can weigh in on the Polish in the background whose comb looks very red for 10 weeks. [She moves too fast, it's the best pic I have!]

That red at ten weeks, definitely cockerel. Even with a few weeks difference in age I would say cockerel. Big red wattles and that big ol comb already are good indicators.

The Barred Rock is definitely a male.
I'm thinking the Polish is a male as well, with those red wattles and comb...

Silkie is a pullet. Wattles would be abit bigger on the beardless variety at this age.

Really? That makes me so happy! I thought pullets didn't get wattles at all this young. Yay!

Thanks for commiserating! I've gotten so attached, but roo's are illegal here
