Hi, I’m no stranger to mites and lice but I’m seeing tiny white bugs on my chickens eggs. I’ve seen lice and thought lice was bigger and more flesh colored. I’ll add a picture but it’d hard to see. And they are moving so definitely alive. I have elector psp on hand. Guess it’s time for another spray down.

I’ve been buying those nesting pad nest box liners for the last year or so from amazon. They are expensive so maybe I need to be changing them more. And I use coarse sand in the rest of the coop under the roosting bars

Hm. It's hard to know. Since they're on the eggs I'd assume the bugs are in the nest. Not saying the nest pads are themselves the problem - maybe they could use a good dusting with a poultry powder (Dave's or some such), or as you mentioned you've got Elector PSP, I would treat the nest pads too - or get some new ones to install in your nests after the Elector PSP has had it's 2-3 days to kill off the nasties.

Thanks I was hoping it was grain mites or something. But I’ve seen them on almost all my eggs 😟. I was hoping I didn’t have to spray them all. It’s so tedious ahaha.
