Toe bent backwards

Young chicken looks like she injured toe. Bent forward, slightly swollen. Limping slightly. How would you fix this?

I have the same problem and just made mine a “sandal” about 20 minutes ago. The chick hates it. Not sure if it will work. We traced the foot and out the toes on the index card properly and taped it down with surgical tape.
