Trouble with Feather Lovers Farm

Wanting to find out if anyone else has gotten took by Feather Lovers Farm at featherloversfarm.com I bought 24 Ayam Cemani's FLF and $654.00 worth of Silver Laced Orpington's back in March 2017 and I did receive my 24 Ayam Cemani chicks even tho only 11 survived at $100.00 each. These were supposed to be the BEST and I have 3 showing red in waddles, combs. White in their mouths (Greenfires are much better) these are a ripoff. And here it is almost September and no Silver Laced Orpington's. They won't return emails or anything now. Their website doesn't give a phone number or address. So trust me stay away from these people. They have just taken me for allot of money. And their "NEW FLF line of Ayam Cemani's" is a scam. Has anyone else had their money stolen by these people? Or gotten their poor quality Ayam Cemani's?

While I have never dealt with them, I will say that I never will... too much I have found that just doesn't add up correctly...

I won an auction for some chicks from them on RBA once a couple years back. They sent me a shipment and all the chicks died in transit. They were working with me and were going to send me another shipment, so I left them positive feedback. As soon as I did that, they were done communicating with me. Never got the replacement shipment.

After hearing of all their quality issues, I'm not too beat up about not having the chicks. Still not happy to be out the money, though.

How long has it been since you ordered? If it was within the last six months and you paid with Paypal, open a claim against them to get your money back for the orps they never shipped you.

Yes, in March 2018, I purchased 3 Ayam Cemani's birds from Feather Lovers Farm. I was told they would be delivered in 2 weeks... 2 1/2 months later, I received my white winged, brown and pink toed, birds.

They want to send me new birds, if I pay shipping. Thats not going to happen. They say they can't guarantee pigment, and feather colors, lol!! The only reason for that would be they're breeding mixed birds. Very fraudulent organization, and I'm taking them to court.

Sounds like you should contact your attorney general that's exactly who you want to speak to in these type of situations they're always super friendly and you actually speak to people

I hate it when I hear about these stories but they're important so that other people don't get scammed

Feather Lover Farms is physically located at 3920 Hickey Ln. In Loomis, CA. They are very disgusting, vile people. Did you ever get your money back or what became of all of that?

I ordered seramas and Onagadori from FLF last summer. All the serama were males. The Onagadori are a mix of colors with evenly distributed sex. 2 birds died in my second shipment. They were sent 2 1/2 months late in the hottest part of the summer. In December 2 Onagadori pullets died from Mareks. I’ve never had an illness problem in 7 years of chicken keeping. I also ended up with a bad case of coccidiosis in my flock. I have to think the Mareks came from there. They offered the vaccine but I didn’t get it. If they have it in their flocks the should at least vaccinate. But really the shouldn’t even be selling. Nice that my bad review is gone and only glowing reviews are posted on their site.
